About
Ohana means family and Ohana Smoothies is a family business. We aren’t Hawaiian, but it’s the closest to our native Dutch Indonesian islands as the United States has to offer and we bring the best of those Island ices, fruits and coffees to the mainland.
The photo is only a sampling of my 5 children and 12 very athletic grandchildren. Ohana Smoothies was begun, not only to employ the grandchildren and keep them in competitive sports, but as athletes, we want them to have something filling and full of energy for competitions. We came up with fruit smoothies because a niece had a Maui Wowi franchise. We loved the concept but are operating independently. We search for recipes that include the best of some favorite tropical fruits, rich in anti-oxidents, vitamins and pure energy and are dairy free in Riverside county. I’m always searching for new recipes.
